July 3rd Sunday Ride
Sunday July 21st
Getting ready for a long, fun,
and I'll bet you haven’t done this before ride!!
The third Sunday ride for July 21st starts early, gather at ECHD @7:30 am and KSU @8 am. This ride will have freeway, country roads, and twisties of plenty! Approx. 900 turns in all!! Please bring a separate pair of your favorite hiking/trekking shoes, a coat, and a good flashlight and/or a head mounted light works well. Our destination is The Ape Caves of Washington. One of the longest lava tubes in the lower 48.
Here is a link for more info:
I have done the lower cave with my family and this time I am going for the upper tube! After hopefully everyone makes it back to the parking lot (LOL) we will have more twisties on down to Cougar WA. where we will have a late lunch. So, pack snacks, and the fuel stop has a espresso stand and food mart.
This is not a novice rider skill level ride!
When I say a long day, like 12hours plus. And twisties galore!
Also note $5 for parking at the caves
